Every driving school says it is patient and professional. Here is what we actually do differently, in terms you can check us on.
Six reasons
The whole booking is yours. No shared lessons, no second student in the back, and no instructor watching the clock because someone else is waiting. If something needs going over four times, it gets gone over four times.
Serviced, compliant and ready to sit an assessment in. A truck that fails a pre-check on assessment day costs you the booking fee and the wait for another slot, and that is not a cost you should be carrying.
Early starts before a shift and evening lessons after one are normal here, weekends included. If your roster changes week to week, tell us and we will move with it rather than making you choose between a lesson and a shift.
You practise on the roads, turns and reversing areas that assessments actually use. Not because there is a trick to it, but because familiarity removes one large source of nerves on the day.
You are told what a course costs and what is included before you book. If we think you will need more hours than the package covers, you hear it at the start, not as an invoice at the end.

The difference
None of this is a criticism of other schools — plenty are excellent, and some of these practices exist for sound commercial reasons. It is simply a description of the choices we have made, so you can compare like for like.

Honest fit
If the only thing that matters to you is the lowest hourly rate you can find, we will likely not be it. One-on-one lessons in maintained vehicles cost more to run than shared ones, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise.
If you need a licence by next Friday and you have not driven a heavy vehicle before, we will tell you that it is unlikely rather than take the booking and hope.
And if you want someone to sign you off as ready when you are not, we are the wrong school entirely. That is the one thing we will not do.
